Worked flat with increased, extra added stitches around the ankle then sew-in up the front of the foot to finish. , fun and easy to slip on and wear. Frilly up will a ruffle of wonder or keep simple. Festive Goldilocks socks can be embellished with holly, felted reindeer, bells and beads.

YOU WILL NEED

THICK ZEBRA , 225m/100g, 100% Highland Wool
100g needed for size 5-7 (UK)
1 x 20g MINI MERRY YAK 80m/20g,  (400m/100g), 75% superwash merino, 25% yak
4mm needles for sock
For Frill: 3mm double pointed needles or 3mm 80cm circular needle (use magic loop method)

FINISHED SIZE: Sample size 5-7 (UK), from toe to heel - 22cm, from sole to top of frill - 14cm

Gauge/tension: 20sts and 24 rows to 10cms in stocking stitch on 4mm needles

k: knit  | p: purl   | R: row  | sts/s: stitch/es  
RS/WS: right-side
m1: make a st – pick-up running thread between right-hand needle and left-hand needle and knit from front to back to create a st. This will leave a small hole. If you would prefer no hole, knit into back of running thread.
kfb: knit into front and then back of st, creating 2sts out of one
k2tog: knit next 2 sts together (one st decrease)

2 little bells + 2 little felt reindeer
For sock: 4mm needles
